Photographs from the Bath Half Marathon 2006

Another fantastic turnout for the Bath Half on March 19th assured a good event for the Trust and the weather was perfect for running: bright and cold but almost no wind. We had over twenty runners but regrettably were unable to get a good team photo before the race as our van was hidden beside the ambulance station! Next year, we will make sure that we have a flagpole or large balloon to announce to everyone where we are.

The regular stalwart runners were there with Chairman Bernard Whiteside and his wife Theresa along with Chair of Trustees, Richard Wharton. Sophie’s twin brother, Matt competed yet again without any training and still came in respectably in under two hours. But we are delighted that there were many new faces who wanted to support The sophie cameron Trust, sophie cameron, many of whom travelled down from London to be with us.

A big thank you to everyone, including the dozen or so marshals and we look forward to continued support in the 2007 race.
